CCNP Security Engineer- 3 Months- Jeddah, KSA

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CCNP Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for a three-month contract assignment. Key Responsibilities

• Security Architecture & Design: Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures utilizing Cisco security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and endpoint security solutions. Ensure alignment with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
• Network Security Implementation: Deploy, configure, and optimize Cisco security devices such as ASA/FTD firewalls, IOS/IOS-XE routers, and switches with advanced security features. Troubleshoot complex security issues to maintain network integrity and performance.
• Policy & Compliance Management: Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Incident Response & Threat Mitigation: Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access attempts, and data breaches. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement proactive threat detection and response mechanisms.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and external partners to integrate security solutions seamlessly into the existing infrastructure. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders to foster a culture of security awareness.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security configurations, incident reports, and compliance activities. Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting key metrics, risks, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Must hold a valid CCNP Security certification or equivalent expertise in Cisco security technologies.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Cisco security solutions, including ASA/FTD firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN technologies, and endpoint security tools. Familiarity with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, and penetration testing methodologies is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of network security principles, encryption protocols, and secure network design. Awareness of emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry trends in cybersecurity.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and the capacity to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network security, with a focus on Cisco technologies. Prior experience in a similar role within the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
