Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in all accounting records, and supporting the broader accounting department with daily, monthly, and annual financial activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Petty Cash Management: Accurately record and reconcile petty cash expenses to ensure transparency and accountability in all financial transactions.
• Bank Transfers: Prepare and execute company bank transfers with precision, adhering to established financial protocols and compliance requirements.
• Cash and Delivery App Reconciliation: Address and resolve discrepancies in cash and delivery app transactions to maintain financial accuracy and customer trust.
• Sales Invoicing: Generate and manage sales invoices promptly, ensuring timely billing and adherence to company policies.
• Fixed Monthly Commitments: Oversee and manage fixed monthly financial obligations, including payments and reconciliations, to ensure smooth operational continuity.
• Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and inventory-related documentation.
• Accounting Department Support: Assist in daily, monthly, and annual accounting activities, such as generating financial reports, preparing tax filings, and supporting audit processes to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to verify the accuracy of charges and ensure timely receipt of payments, fostering strong professional relationships.
• Client Communication: Engage with clients to discuss account statuses, address billing discrepancies, or provide clarity on financial matters, ensuring exceptional service and transparency.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience, with a proven track record in financial management.
• Fluency in written English, with exceptional attention to detail in all written communications.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, particularly Odoo, to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Drive for document management and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and improve accounting processes for optimal performance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• A passion for coffee and a keen interest in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry are considered advantageous.
