Corporate Settlement Team Leader

Job Purpose / Role

Lead the execution of corporate settlement activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of internal settlement transactions. Resolve operational exceptions, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and maintain operational efficiency in accordance with established policies, service levels, and regulatory requirements.

Areas of Responsibility

• Policies, Processes & Procedures: Implement approved departmental policies, provide instructions, and monitor adherence to ensure controlled work processes.
• Day-to-day Operations: Implement and oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Day-to-day Settlement Operations: Lead and oversee the timely and accurate execution of corporate banking settlement activities, monitor exceptions, and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational control standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, considering international best practices, process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Safety, Quality & Environment: Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies and controls.
• Related Assignments: Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking operations or accounting.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, operations processing systems, and Riyad Bank's main processing systems.
• Thorough knowledge of SAMA and other applicable rules and regulations.
