Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Computing Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level cloud environments that align with organizational objectives while ensuring high availability, robust security, optimal performance, and full compliance with Saudi Arabia’s digital government and cybersecurity standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in cloud architecture, cloud operations, and continuous optimization across leading cloud platforms, with a proven ability to drive innovation and efficiency in cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Develop and deploy enterprise cloud architectures that meet business requirements while adhering to best practices in scalability, reliability, and security.
• Cloud Operations Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud-based services and solutions to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor cloud environments to assess performance, availability, and system health, implementing proactive measures to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Cost & Resource Optimization: Analyze cloud usage patterns to identify opportunities for cost reduction, resource allocation, and performance enhancements without compromising service quality.
• Security & Governance: Implement robust cloud security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance measures to safeguard data and infrastructure in accordance with Digital Government Authority (DGA) and National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) regulations.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex issues within cloud infrastructure and applications, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and minimize downtime.
• Cloud Migration & Modernization: Lead and support initiatives to migrate legacy systems to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum business value during the transition.
• Technical Documentation & Recommendations: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, best practice guidelines, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making and future planning.
• Application & Service Support: Provide expert technical support for cloud-hosted applications and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance user experience.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS or Microsoft Azure, with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions.
• Cloud Architecture & Administration: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Cloud Security & Governance: Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks to ensure data protection and regulatory adherence.
• Performance Optimization: Expertise in monitoring tools and techniques to optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup: Experience in designing and implementing robust disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions efficiently.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing, cloud infrastructure management, or a closely related discipline.
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
