Position Overview
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - HRIS to join our growing team in Riyadh. This pivotal role will serve as a key contributor to the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) function, ensuring seamless integration, management, and optimization of HR technology solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, supporting data-driven decision-making, and fostering a culture of innovation within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager - HRIS will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
- System Administration and Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of HRIS platforms, ensuring system integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This includes managing user access, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with IT teams for system upgrades and integrations.
- Data Management and Reporting: Develop, maintain, and analyze HR data to generate accurate and insightful reports for stakeholders. This role requires proficiency in extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) processes, as well as the ability to interpret data trends to support strategic HR initiatives.
- Process Improvement and Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation, workflow optimization, and the implementation of best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions that enhance productivity and reduce manual effort.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of HRIS solutions. This includes evaluating vendor performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Change Management and Training: Lead change management initiatives related to HRIS upgrades or new system rollouts. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure smooth adoption by end-users, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations, such as GDPR or local labor laws, by implementing robust governance frameworks. This includes maintaining audit trails, conducting regular compliance audits, and mitigating risks associated with data handling.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or HCM certifications) are highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and HR analytics tools is essential. Familiarity with cloud-based HR solutions and API integrations is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership is critical.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing HRIS projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Proficiency in agile methodologies or project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is advantageous.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong asset.
