Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
The Electrical Execution Engineer (TL) will be responsible for overseeing and executing electrical engineering tasks within assigned projects. Your core duties will include:
- Project Execution: Lead the electrical execution phase of projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, reviewing electrical drawings, schematics, and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Procurement & Material Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to source and procure electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability and cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.
- Site Coordination: Act as a liaison between the project site and the engineering office, facilitating effective communication and resolving on-site electrical challenges promptly. Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and as-built drawings. Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company and client standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion safety protocols and ensure all electrical installations and operations comply with local and international safety regulations, including OSHA, IEC, and NEC standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to prevent hazards.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address technical queries, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Foster strong professional relationships to enhance collaboration and project success.
Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in project execution, preferably in the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit), strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, and experience with power distribution systems, control panels, and automation technologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Certifications: Valid professional certifications in electrical engineering or project management are highly desirable.
