Financial Manager - KSA

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Financial Manager to join our client, a leading E-tobacco company within a global enterprise, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this pivotal role will oversee all financial, accounting, taxation, treasury, reporting, compliance, and business partnering functions for the KSA operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving financial excellence by ensuring precise financial reporting, safeguarding company assets, optimizing working capital, and maintaining full compliance with KSA regulatory frameworks. Additionally, the role will provide strategic financial insights to support commercial growth, uphold Group policies, and adhere to IFRS standards, ZATCA regulations, VAT obligations, customs duties, excise taxes, and corporate tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Manager will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial and operational duties, including:

• Financial Reporting & Accounting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Budgeting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop, monitor, and analyze annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
• Treasury & Working Capital Management: Optimize cash flow, manage liquidity, and ensure efficient working capital utilization to support operational and growth initiatives.
• Tax, ZATCA & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to KSA tax laws, ZATCA e-invoicing regulations, VAT obligations, customs duties, excise taxes, and corporate tax requirements, while managing all filings and audits.
• Commercial Finance Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights, support pricing strategies, and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Inventory, Supply Chain & Cost Control: Monitor inventory levels, analyze supply chain costs, and implement cost-saving measures to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Internal Controls & Risk Management: Establish and maintain robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes to mitigate financial and operational risks.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA is highly preferred.
• Experience:
  • 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a Finance Manager role.
  • Proven track record in distribution, FMCG, tobacco/nicotine products, consumer goods, or import and trading businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with KSA tax regulations, ZATCA compliance, and corporate tax frameworks.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in IFRS reporting, financial planning and analysis, and treasury management.
  • Proficiency in taxation, ZATCA compliance, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
  • Strong command of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities.
