Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following critical functions:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a forward-thinking IT, ERP, and technology strategy that aligns seamlessly with the organization’s long-term business objectives.
• Executive Oversight: Provide high-level leadership across IT operations, enterprise systems, infrastructure, and transformative technology initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
• Service Delivery: Lead the implementation and maintenance of high-availability IT services that underpin critical business operations, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, deployment, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, applications, and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Connectivity & Support: Ensure robust and resilient connectivity and technology support across geographically dispersed and remote locations, fostering operational continuity.
• Innovation & Transformation: Drive digital innovation by leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud computing, IoT, AI-driven analytics, and advanced digital platforms to enhance business agility and competitiveness.
• ERP Leadership: Develop and execute ERP strategies, application roadmaps, and business systems optimization initiatives to streamline core functions and improve operational efficiency.
• Vendor & Partnership Management: Manage enterprise applications and cultivate strategic technology partnerships with leading software vendors, including SAP and Oracle, to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Cybersecurity & Governance: Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity frameworks, governance policies, data management protocols, and business continuity plans to safeguard organizational assets and mitigate risks.
• Risk & Resilience Management: Oversee disaster recovery planning, system resilience strategies, and technology risk management to ensure uninterrupted business operations in the face of disruptions.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required. A Master’s degree in Information Systems Management or a similar discipline is highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership capacity such as Head of IT or IT Director.
• ERP Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing ERP implementations and support, with a strong preference for platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
• Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of IT infrastructure, operational technology (OT), and enterprise systems, with a proven track record in complex, distributed, or remote operational environments.
• Security & Governance: Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, IT governance frameworks, data management strategies, and business continuity planning.
• Project & Vendor Management: Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects, oversee budgets, and cultivate relationships with technology vendors and partners.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL Expert, CISSP, or CISM are considered advantageous.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience within a complex industrial environment, such as manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, or similar sectors, is highly desirable.
