As our Assistant IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous enhancement of our information technology systems, delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with Raffles' esteemed brand standards.

Working closely with the Director of IT and hotel leadership, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day operation of all hotel IT systems, including PMS, POS, networks, servers, telephony, Wi-Fi, and end-user devices.
• Assisting in maintaining system availability, performance, and security across all hotel departments.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Supporting system integrations between PMS, POS, Finance, Sales, F&B, and third-party applications.
• Assisting in implementing and maintaining IT security policies, access controls, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitoring system performance and proactively escalating issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Supporting new system implementations, upgrades, patches, and testing activities.
• Maintaining accurate IT documentation, asset registers, licenses, and configuration records.
• Assisting with vendor coordination, service contracts, and support agreements.
• Supporting user access management, system permissions, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Providing IT support during critical hotel operations, pre-opening activities, and special events.
• Ensuring compliance with Accor IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, and local regulations.
• Supporting IT audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
• Promoting IT best practices and providing basic system training to hotel colleagues.
• Acting as a deputy to the IT Manager when required, supporting leadership and decision-making.
• Maintaining strong communication with department heads to understand and support operational technology needs.
• Upholding data protection, confidentiality, and information security standards at all times.

We seek a candidate with a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel IT operations, preferably with exposure to supervisory or assistant-level responsibilities. Strong knowledge of hotel systems, networking, end-user support, and cybersecurity fundamentals is essential. Familiarity with system integrations, cloud-based applications, and vendor management is highly desirable.
