Key Responsibilities

The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Project Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• System Design and Analysis: Develop comprehensive electrical designs, including power distribution systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems, utilizing advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit.
• Technical Oversight: Conduct thorough reviews of electrical drawings, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with applicable codes and standards, such as NEC, IEC, or local regulations.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including civil, mechanical, and structural engineers, as well as architects and contractors, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into broader project frameworks.
• Budget and Schedule Management: Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within financial constraints while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
• Innovation and Problem-Solving: Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions in electrical system designs, proposing sustainable and forward-thinking solutions to complex challenges.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical installations and systems comply with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and enhance operational reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role. Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Profound knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards, with hands-on experience in design software, simulation tools, and industry-specific applications.
• Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence.
• Licensure: Valid professional engineering license (e.g., PE) or eligibility for licensure in Saudi Arabia is required.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
