Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be responsible for a wide range of critical tasks that ensure the smooth progression of construction projects. Your core duties will include:

• Project Oversight: Supervising day-to-day construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Technical Execution: Assisting in the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies in collaboration with the design and project management teams.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to verify that all work meets the required engineering and safety standards, as well as regulatory compliance.
• Site Coordination: Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and resolve any on-site challenges promptly.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, site diaries, and compliance documentation for internal and external audits.
• Safety Management: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel and minimizing potential hazards on-site.
• Problem-Solving: Identifying and addressing technical issues or discrepancies in construction plans, proposing viable solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in site engineering, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools for design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards, including local and international regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Certifications in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or related fields are highly desirable.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred, with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
