Key Responsibilities

As a Reliability Engineer at Saipem, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational integrity and efficiency of our assets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of equipment failures using established methodologies such as Taproot, identifying underlying issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Bad Actor Identification: Lead the identification of frequently failing equipment, often referred to as "Bad Actors," and deploy the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) to systematically address and resolve these issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Propose, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with industry best practices in maintenance and reliability engineering to drive continuous improvement.
• Equipment History Management: Ensure comprehensive documentation of equipment history, including damage codes and root cause analysis, to support data-driven decision-making and regulatory compliance.
• Total Plant Reliability Management (TPRM): Develop, implement, and oversee the Total Plant Reliability Management System, fostering a culture of reliability excellence across all operational phases.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Master’s degree in Reliability Engineering, with a preference for Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), and Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in reliability engineering, with a proven track record in root cause analysis and failure investigation.
• Familiarity with FRACAS and experience in deploying reliability management systems in industrial or energy sector environments.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation to drive reliability improvements and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
