About the Role
As an ID / Access Control Specialist II within the Technical Services Team at NEOM, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and secure issuance of identity credentials, access passes, and vehicle permits for employees, visitors, and contractors. This position is integral to maintaining the highest standards of security and operational efficiency at the NGHC facility, supporting the NGHC Technical Services Lead in upholding all security obligations outlined in the NGHC Site Access Control Procedure. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of administrative and security-related tasks, including the verification of government documentation, issuance of access credentials, monitoring of expiration dates, and revocation of access when necessary. By contributing to a secure and well-organized environment, you will directly support the operational success of the $8.4 billion green hydrogen-based ammonia production facility, a landmark project developed in collaboration with NEOM, Air Products, and ACWA Power.
Key Responsibilities
- Credential Issuance and Management: Issue all types of NGHC identity cards, temporary visitor and employment passes, and temporary vehicle passes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Documentation and Verification: Request and review criminal records checks when required, input accurate and timely information into the NGHC ID / Access Control System, and maintain a clear audit trail for all access privileges granted to ID holders.
- System Operations and Maintenance: Operate the NGHC ID / Access Control System proficiently, resolve issues related to the badging process, and ensure accurate badge entries, printing, and distribution. Update and maintain records throughout the validity period of each ID.
- Compliance and Security: Cancel expired ID cards upon notification from relevant departments, adhere to the NGHC Security Code of Conduct, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of post orders, assignment instructions, and SOPs.
- Team Collaboration and Professionalism: Arrive on shift punctually, perform all assigned security and administrative duties to a high standard, and actively contribute as a team member. Demonstrate a disciplined, professional, and customer-focused approach in all interactions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High school certificate is required; additional technical or academic training is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable work experience, including exposure to security-related computer systems and access control software. Customer service experience is highly desirable.
- Language & Technical Requirements: Fluency in English with strong communication skills, and the ability to communicate and write accurately in Arabic. Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications, are essential.
- Preferred Experience: A strong understanding of implementing policies and procedures, along with knowledge of operational requirements within the security industry, is advantageous.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate high integrity, professionalism, and respectfulness. Exhibit strong listening and communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to observe, record, and report accurately.
- Additional Requirements: Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid security license. Ability to provide a two-year verifiable employment history and completion of required government medical tests and police clearance checks are mandatory.
