Esnad Contracting Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Estimation Engineer to lead our estimation and tendering efforts in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities

• Technical & Cost Analysis: Thoroughly review mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents to ensure compliance with project requirements. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for mechanical systems, including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and infrastructure utilities.
• Cost Estimation & Pricing: Develop accurate project cost estimates and pricing analyses tailored for tender submissions. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to optimize procurement strategies and enhance cost efficiency.
• Proposal Development: Author technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives and market demands.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and project execution teams to ensure consistency in project data, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
• Risk & Opportunity Analysis: Identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities to enhance profitability, leveraging market insights and strategic foresight.
• Database & Market Intelligence: Maintain and update cost databases, pricing records, and market rates. Monitor local and international construction markets to stay ahead of pricing trends and competitive benchmarks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in mechanical estimation, tendering, and cost management within contracting companies, with a preference for experience in infrastructure projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong background in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender pricing. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting.
• Market Expertise: Extensive understanding of local and international construction markets, suppliers, and pricing trends.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software (e.g., Primavera, CostX, or similar tools).
• Certifications: Professional certifications in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management are highly advantageous; RICS certification is preferred.
• Language: Fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
