Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoice processing and financial record-keeping. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, verifying, and recording invoices, as well as managing accounting tasks for designated company stores. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to precision, possess excellent organizational skills, and exhibit a proactive approach to professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Verification & Processing: Conduct thorough reviews of incoming invoices to confirm their accuracy, legitimacy, and compliance with company policies. Verify all details, including amounts, dates, and vendor information, before recording them in the system.
• Financial Record Maintenance: Accurately input and maintain invoice data in Excel, ensuring that all financial records are up-to-date, organized, and easily accessible for audits or reporting purposes.
• Store-Specific Accounting: Manage accounting tasks related to assigned company stores, including reconciling transactions, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial consistency across all locations.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain meticulous documentation of all financial activities, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Prepare and review financial reports as needed to support decision-making processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency within the finance department. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging accounting standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Membership: Eligibility to obtain membership with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA).
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create formulas, pivot tables, and financial reports. Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Strong command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Prior exposure to invoice processing or store accounting is advantageous but not mandatory.
