Your Role as a Tamheer Engineer

As a fresh graduate engineer participating in the Tamheer program, you will embark on a structured learning journey under the mentorship of industry experts. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, allowing you to develop technical proficiency while contributing to real-world solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to diverse engineering disciplines and project phases, from conceptual design to construction oversight. Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Assist senior engineers in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Design and Analysis: Support the design and analysis of mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, and architectural systems, contributing to integrated project solutions.
• Field Engagement: Participate in site visits, inspections, and data collection activities to gather critical information for project planning and execution.
• Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to the development of project documentation, including specifications, submittals, and technical queries, while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with professionals from various engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions that meet client objectives.
• Project Coordination: Attend project meetings, provide input on problem-solving discussions, and support the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, structural engineering, or architecture from an accredited institution.
• Up to two years of relevant experience, including internships or cooperative education placements, which demonstrate your commitment to the field.
• A strong academic record and a demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, or MATLAB, is highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse projects.
• A keen analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
• The ability to work under supervision, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
