Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Establish, structure, and lead the Accounting and Finance Department, defining clear reporting lines and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate finance personnel to build a high-performing team aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement robust finance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and internal controls to ensure operational integrity and compliance.

Financial Management & Accounting

• Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records while monitoring performance and recommending corrective actions to enhance financial health.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze financial variances, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and banking relationships to ensure financial stability.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, oversee financing activities, and optimize cash utilization while mitigating financial risks.

Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance

• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, cost variance analysis, and product costing.
• Monitor manufacturing costs to enhance profitability and support pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Operations and Production teams to drive cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Inventory & Supply Chain Finance

• Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, physical counts, and stock audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor inventory performance and work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and Supply Chain teams to strengthen inventory controls and reduce inefficiencies.

Compliance, Audit & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), Value-Added Tax (VAT), statutory reporting, and corporate governance requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits while strengthening internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory compliance to avoid penalties and maintain operational integrity.

ERP Systems & Process Improvement

• Lead ERP implementation and optimization initiatives to enhance financial process automation and system integration.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and operational efficiency through process automation and system enhancements.

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Serve as a strategic partner to senior management, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational improvements to drive long-term success.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA. A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role, is required. Proficiency in ERP systems, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of IFRS, ZATCA, and VAT regulations are essential.
