The Role

We are seeking a visionary Senior Information Technology Manager to lead KIH’s IT function with strategic foresight and operational precision. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the technology agenda across the holding company. Your mandate is to transform IT from a reactive support model into a well-governed, secure, and scalable platform that underpins business operations while driving the digitization of core workflows. This is a hands-on leadership position where your technical acumen and business insight will be critical—you will not only set the direction but also maintain a deep operational awareness to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact the business.

What You Will Own

IT Strategy & Governance

• Develop and execute a forward-looking IT roadmap aligned with business priorities, budget constraints, and long-term growth objectives.
• Establish and enforce robust IT policies, standards, and service level agreements to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare compelling technology investment cases and policy recommendations for executive leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.

Infrastructure & Enterprise Systems

• Oversee the availability, performance, and lifecycle of all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud and on-premise platforms, and end-user computing environments.
• Manage enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365 and the HRIS (MenaITech), leading implementations, upgrades, and integrations with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Ensure the implementation of robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans, regularly testing and validating their effectiveness to safeguard critical operations.

Cybersecurity & Data Governance

• Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive cybersecurity posture, encompassing access control, identity management, threat protection, and incident response protocols.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets across all systems.
• Implement and monitor security standards across users, vendors, and systems, with the authority to enforce compliance and mitigate risks proactively.

Vendors, Licensing & Budget

• Manage relationships with IT vendors, telecom providers, and security partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
• Oversee IT licensing, asset management, and budgetary controls with full accountability for cost efficiency and financial performance.

Digitization & Team Leadership

• Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows across corporate functions, driving efficiency and reducing operational overhead.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive IT experience, with a proven track record in team leadership and strategic management.
• Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity and IT governance, with a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong technical background across IT infrastructure and operations, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user environments.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise applications such as ERP, HRIS, and Microsoft 365, including implementation, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, licensing agreements, and IT budgets, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Microsoft/Azure, or CCNP are highly desirable.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
