Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your expertise will be instrumental in:

• Comprehensive Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations, document findings meticulously, and design individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Your ability to synthesize clinical data will ensure optimal diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic interventions.
• Patient Education and Empowerment: Act as a trusted advisor by educating patients on their orthopedic conditions, required investigations, treatment modalities, and medication regimens. Foster proactive health management by guiding patients on preventive measures, lifestyle adjustments, and hygiene practices to mitigate future complications.
• Clinical Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, physiotherapists, and administrative staff, to deliver cohesive and patient-focused care. Establish strong working relationships with internal departments, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and operational excellence.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Adhere rigorously to NCC’s policies, procedural guidelines, and regulatory standards, including those set by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and the College of Board Administrators for Health Institutions (CBAHI). Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to uphold clinical excellence and meet or exceed industry benchmarks.
• Continuous Professional Development: Lead and participate in educational programs, including rounds, conferences, and journal clubs, to advance your expertise and mentor junior staff. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery through evidence-based practices and population-specific care strategies.
• Administrative and Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate patient records, ensure compliance with fire safety protocols, and meet attendance standards. Leverage your proficiency in health information systems to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university, complemented by a Master’s degree in Orthopedic Surgery or an equivalent Fellowship approved by the SCFHS.
• Experience: Demonstrate 2 years of clinical experience post-Master’s degree or eligibility to sit the board examination in your specialty. Your background should reflect a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
• Licensure: Possess a valid SCFHS license as a Registrar in Orthopedic Surgery, ensuring compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Office and Health Information Systems to manage patient data, schedules, and clinical documentation efficiently.
• Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Arabic, with strong speaking and writing abilities to facilitate effective communication with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
