Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and visionary ICT Lead Engineer to spearhead the technical leadership, design review, systems integration, and implementation of advanced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems for a transformative airport, infrastructure, and airfield development project. The successful candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers, designers, and industry experts while adhering to international aviation standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

The ICT Lead Engineer will play a central role in driving the project’s ICT vision, ensuring alignment with operational requirements, client expectations, and technological advancements. Core responsibilities include:

• Technical Leadership and Oversight: Provide expert guidance to ICT engineers, designers, consultants, and contractors, establishing robust engineering review processes, technical standards, and delivery benchmarks. Lead the development and implementation of ICT strategies that align with project objectives and long-term scalability.
• Design Review and Compliance: Conduct comprehensive reviews of ICT designs, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and engineering submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements, international aviation standards (e.g., ICAO, FAA), and client-specific specifications. Verify that all ICT infrastructure supports current operational needs while accommodating future technological expansion.
• Systems Integration and Coordination: Oversee the integration of critical ICT systems, including structured cabling (copper and fiber optic), Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), wireless communication systems, data centers, and telecommunications infrastructure. Ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability across passenger terminals, concourses, cargo facilities, airfield operational areas, and support buildings.
• Airport Operational Technology Alignment: Coordinate ICT interfaces with specialized airport systems such as Airport Operational Database (AODB), Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS), Common Use Passenger Processing Systems (CUPPS/CUSS), Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), security systems, access control systems, CCTV, Building Management Systems (BMS), and more. Facilitate the integration of ICT infrastructure with airport operational technology platforms to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Lead the review of ICT designs to ensure alignment with cybersecurity requirements and industry best practices. Coordinate cybersecurity interfaces with airport operational systems and enterprise networks, implementing secure network architectures, access controls, and data protection measures. Evaluate cybersecurity-related technical submissions to mitigate risks and safeguard critical infrastructure.
• Construction Support and Commissioning:
• Value Engineering and Innovation: Drive value engineering initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and smart airport initiatives to recommend and implement digital transformation strategies that improve operational performance and passenger experience.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure cohesive project delivery. Act as a liaison between ICT stakeholders and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
