Key Responsibilities

Your work will be instrumental in creating a supportive and engaging campus community. Key responsibilities include:

• Student Support & Welfare: Act as the primary liaison for students seeking non-academic guidance, addressing inquiries, concerns, and support needs with empathy and professionalism. Lead new student onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless transition into college life. Provide clarity on student rights, responsibilities, and available resources, while connecting students with counseling, academic, or administrative support when necessary. Handle and escalate student complaints, appeals, and disciplinary matters in compliance with institutional policies, ensuring fairness and confidentiality. Foster a culture of inclusivity and well-being by promoting mental health awareness and a positive campus environment.
• Student Life & Engagement: Design and execute a diverse range of student-centric activities, including events, clubs, awareness campaigns, and community initiatives. Encourage participation in social, cultural, recreational, and volunteer opportunities to enrich the student experience. Collaborate with student organizations to support their planning and execution of approved activities while aligning with college objectives. Oversee the annual calendar of student activities, ensuring alignment with academic schedules and institutional goals. Drive initiatives that enhance student engagement, belonging, and overall satisfaction.
• Student Affairs Administration: Maintain accurate, confidential records related to student cases, behavioral matters, and attendance follow-ups. Process and coordinate student requests efficiently, adhering to established policies and procedures. Serve as a bridge between Student Affairs and departments such as Academic Affairs, Admissions, Finance, HR, and IT to resolve student-related matters seamlessly. Prepare comprehensive reports, statistics, and documentation to support institutional quality assurance and accreditation efforts.
• Student Conduct & Policy Support: Assist in implementing the Student Code of Conduct and related policies, ensuring consistency and fairness in disciplinary actions. Support the handling of behavioral and conduct matters under the guidance of relevant committees. Educate students on institutional policies, expected standards, and their rights and responsibilities to promote a respectful and accountable campus community.
• Communication & Stakeholder Coordination: Effectively communicate policies, announcements, and updates to students through clear and accessible channels. Identify recurring student concerns and trends, sharing insights with management to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and community organizations to enhance student activities and services. Actively seek and incorporate student feedback to continuously improve the campus experience.
