About The Role

At Noon Academy, we operate hybrid classrooms across Saudi Arabia, where a remote star teacher delivers the session, students gather in a physical classroom, and an in-room facilitator ensures smooth operations. This innovative teaching model thrives on the expertise of a Head Teacher who possesses real classroom authority to shape curriculum content and delivery methods. We are seeking a Head Teacher for the National Track in Math & Physics—an experienced educator with over a decade of teaching experience, a proven track record in coaching other teachers, and a passion for influencing thousands of students daily.

This role is fundamentally academic, not managerial. You will not be responsible for administrative tasks or team management. Instead, your focus will be on defining curriculum priorities, maintaining academic standards, coaching delivery teachers, and actively participating in classroom teaching to ensure the effectiveness of your strategies.

How The Role Splits

• Curriculum & Term Planning (50%)
  • Collaborate with the design team to determine curriculum priorities, including topic selection, emphasis, and overall term and year planning.
  • Review finalized lessons within the system to ensure they meet academic standards. Note: You will not be responsible for building the lessons; that responsibility lies with the Design Lead.
• Coaching Delivery Teachers (30%)
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to teachers who deliver sessions to students, focusing on content delivery, hybrid classroom management, and student engagement through digital platforms.
  • Conduct observations, provide constructive feedback, and implement follow-up actions to drive continuous improvement in teaching practices.
• Delivering Lessons (20%)
  • Teach sessions yourself to maintain a direct connection with the content, assess its practical application, and gather firsthand student feedback.

What You'll Own

• Academic oversight of the Math & Physics curriculum for Middle School and High School under the National Track, including topic sequencing, depth, and alignment with national assessments.
• Development of term and year plans in collaboration with Design Leads, ensuring they are approved and ready for implementation.
• Final review of all built lessons before they are delivered to students, acting as the ultimate academic gatekeeper.
• Coaching and professional development for the delivery teaching team, in partnership with the Learning Excellence team’s observation and evaluation processes.
• Analyzing assessment data—including diagnostics, exit tickets, end-of-chapter results, and learning gains—to inform curriculum adjustments and improvements for subsequent terms.
• Serving as the academic voice in cross-functional collaborations with Design, Learning Excellence, Product, and Data teams to drive cohesive and effective educational strategies.

What We're Looking For

• Must Have:
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on classroom teaching experience, with substantial expertise in both middle school and high school levels.
  • 3–5 years of experience in managing or coaching other teachers, whether as a Head of Department, Subject Lead, Mentor, or in a formal coaching capacity.
  • In-depth familiarity with Saudi national assessments, including Qudurat, Tahsili, and Nafes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret assessment data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to effectively coach and mentor teachers while collaborating across departments.
• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with hybrid or blended learning models.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and educational technology integration.
  • A passion for innovation in education and a commitment to lifelong learning.
