System & Analytics Specialist - Riyadh

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented System & Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This pivotal role will bridge the gap between technology and business intelligence, ensuring seamless ERP and POS system implementations while driving data-driven decision-making across our expanding retail operations. As a key member of the IT and analytics function, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our enterprise systems and reporting infrastructure, contributing directly to our growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for two core areas of our business: leading ERP and POS system implementation projects and owning the company’s enterprise reporting and data analytics function. Your responsibilities will include:

• ERP & POS Implementation Coordination:
  • Spearhead end-to-end ERP and POS system implementation projects, from requirements gathering and configuration to testing, UAT, go-live, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external implementation vendors and software partners, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including finance, operations, and IT—to maintain project momentum and adherence to schedules.
  • Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects, tracking progress, identifying risks, and mitigating dependencies while providing regular updates to the Senior IT Manager.
• Compliance & Localization:
  • Partner with external accountants and local compliance/tax advisors to validate ERP and POS configurations against country-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee e-invoicing and fiscalization compliance for POS systems across diverse jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to evolving local regulations.
  • Monitor changes in local compliance standards and drive necessary system or process adjustments to maintain full regulatory alignment.
• Data, Reporting & Business Intelligence:
  • Own the entire enterprise reporting lifecycle, including Power BI development, semantic model design, DAX scripting, and the creation of executive dashboards and KPI reports.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from ERP (Dynamics 365 BC), POS systems, SQL Server, and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable data warehouse or lakehouse architecture using Microsoft Fabric or the Azure Data Platform.
  • Leverage BI4Dynamics or similar accelerators to streamline ERP-to-BI data integration and ensure seamless reporting capabilities.
  • Manage the reporting request backlog from business stakeholders, prioritizing deliverables and executing independently to meet organizational needs.
  • Conduct training sessions for business users to enhance adoption of dashboards and self-service reporting tools.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:

• Professional Background: Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting and managing multi-country projects, with a strong focus on BI delivery and data analytics. Prior experience in a consulting or multi-market environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Hands-on proficiency in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and ETL/ELT development.
  • Proven experience integrating ERP systems—such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, AX, NAV, or Business Central—with reporting and data platforms.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate directly with external vendors, accountants, and compliance partners to align on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead requirements discussions and drive projects with minimal oversight.
• Certifications & Platform Knowledge:
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or the Azure Data Platform is a strong plus.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI, SQL, or data analytics are advantageous.
