Senior Medical Science Liaison – Saudi Arabia (Riyadh or Jeddah)

We are collaborating with a leading multinational pharmaceutical company to establish its Medical Affairs team in Saudi Arabia in preparation for an upcoming product launch. This is a pivotal build-phase opportunity, not a replacement role, where you will play a foundational role in shaping the local scientific engagement model and contributing to the establishment of a robust medical footprint in the Kingdom. The position is exclusively open to Saudi nationals as part of the client’s strategic Saudization initiative.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for driving scientific engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and treating physicians across Saudi Arabia. Your role will encompass a range of pre-launch medical activities, including:

• Generating critical medical insights to inform strategic decision-making
• Facilitating advisory boards to gather expert input and align on scientific priorities
• Ensuring scientific platform readiness to support upcoming product launches
• Collaborating closely with Market Access, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to align on launch strategies
• Contributing to the development of the local medical strategy, rather than executing a predefined playbook
• Supporting local evidence generation initiatives and real-world data projects to strengthen the scientific narrative

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

• Saudi nationality (mandatory, as this role aligns with the client’s Saudization strategy)
• A PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent degree in the life sciences
• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience within Saudi Arabia
• A well-established network of KOLs in the Kingdom
• Proven expertise in Rare Diseases, Oncology, Immunology, or Neuroscience
• Prior experience in pre-launch or launch activities is highly advantageous
• Fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal
