The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical expertise in integration frameworks, APIs, middleware, and cloud-based solutions, alongside a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• System Integration Design: Develop and architect robust integration solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud-based systems. Evaluate and recommend integration tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance scalability and performance.
• API and Middleware Development: Lead the design, development, and optimization of APIs, microservices, and middleware components to facilitate secure and efficient data exchange. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure integration solutions adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end integration projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support. Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose and resolve integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies. Implement continuous monitoring and improvement strategies to maintain system reliability and high availability.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business analysts, to foster a collaborative environment. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure all integration solutions comply with security protocols, data privacy regulations, and organizational policies. Implement encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms to safeguard sensitive information.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in integration, cloud computing, or cybersecurity are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or IBM Integration Bus. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or .NET, and familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud Integration: Hands-on experience with cloud integration services, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and tools like AWS Lambda, Azure Logic Apps, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership in driving team collaboration and project success.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards such as EDI, HL7, or ISO 20022, and experience in sectors like finance, healthcare, or enterprise software is a plus.
