As a Laundry Attendant, you will oversee the entire laundry process with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every garment and linen item is handled with care and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, and ironers, while adhering to strict operational protocols. Your duties will include:

• Operational Excellence: Efficiently manage the entire laundry workflow, from sorting and washing to drying, ironing, and folding. Ensure all garments and linens are processed with precision, maintaining separation between white, colored, and delicate items to preserve quality and prevent damage.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect and segregate all laundry items, including torn or stained garments, for appropriate reporting and handling. Fold, hang, and organize linens and terry towels in designated storage areas, ensuring neatness and accessibility for staff.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance of laundry equipment, including cleaning lint traps, checking for malfunctions, and reporting any issues to the supervisor promptly. Uphold the cleanliness and functionality of all assigned machinery to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate daily production reports, documenting laundry volumes, processing times, and any discrepancies or challenges encountered. Submit these reports to the supervisor at the end of each shift to support data-driven decision-making.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to the hotel’s Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, as well as the guidelines outlined in the Employees Handbook. Promptly identify and report any potential hazards to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
• Guest-Centric Service: Deliver exceptional service by processing guest laundry with urgency and discretion, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining confidentiality where necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Housekeeping team to coordinate linen and laundry supply needs, ensuring inventory levels are optimized for guest comfort and operational efficiency.
• Professionalism and Punctuality: Report for duty on time, dressed in the correct uniform and name tag, embodying the hotel’s commitment to professionalism and attention to detail.
• Adaptability: Remain open to additional responsibilities as needed to support the evolving demands of the hotel and its guests.
