Your Role as a Contract Administrator (Saudi National)
Parsons is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Contract Administrator (Saudi National) to support critical contract administration and commercial coordination efforts on a major airfield and airport development project. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth execution of contractual obligations, maintaining compliance with project and client requirements, and facilitating seamless collaboration across commercial, procurement, and project teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding the integrity of contract documentation, managing variations, and supporting the delivery of a world-class infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
As a Contract Administrator, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of contract-related activities, including:
- Contract Documentation and Compliance: Assist in the administration of contracts in strict accordance with their terms, conditions, and project-specific procedures. Ensure all contractual documentation, correspondence, and records are accurately prepared, maintained, and stored in compliance with project requirements.
- Change Management Support: Track variations, change orders, and contract deliverables to ensure timely execution and adherence to contractual obligations. Maintain comprehensive logs and registers to monitor progress and identify potential risks.
- Contractual Reporting and Communication: Prepare and distribute contractual reports, summaries, and status updates to stakeholders. Facilitate clear and effective communication with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve contractual matters efficiently.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with commercial, procurement, and project teams to align contractual processes with project objectives. Participate in contract reviews, meetings, and coordination sessions to ensure alignment and mitigate potential disputes.
- Document Control and Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of contract correspondence, approvals, submissions, and submissions. Support document control processes to ensure all contractual records are accessible, secure, and up-to-date.
- Milestone Tracking: Monitor key contract milestones and obligations to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project timelines. Proactively identify and address any deviations to minimize disruptions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and attributes:
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, or similar roles within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- A solid understanding of construction contracts and contract administration procedures, with the ability to interpret contractual terms and conditions accurately.
- Exceptional documentation, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex information and convey it clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using contract registers, logs, and reporting tools to track progress and ensure compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your candidacy for this role:
- Exposure to FIDIC or similar standard forms of contract, with a deep understanding of their application in construction and infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience working on airport, airfield, or large-scale infrastructure projects, providing valuable insights into the unique challenges of such environments.
- Familiarity with document control systems and commercial reporting processes, enabling you to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
