Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks, cold brews, and specialty teas, adhering to InterContinental’s high standards of quality and presentation.
• Customer Engagement: Deliver personalized and attentive service to guests, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Anticipate and respond to customer needs with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, including the coffee station, equipment, and inventory. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure seamless service during peak hours, including breakfast, lunch, and evening shifts. Support colleagues in maintaining a cohesive and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable. A proven track record of delivering exceptional service is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment. Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques and quality control standards is required.
