Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Comprehensive Patient Care: Conduct thorough clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional assessments for all patients under your care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment. Document assessments meticulously in patients’ medical records, adhering to evidence-based guidelines and Fakeeh Care’s standards.
• Evidence-Based Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, grounded in the latest medical research and best practices. Ensure timely documentation of these plans in patients’ records and monitor their execution to guarantee optimal outcomes.
• Leadership in Patient Management: Serve as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under your care. Create a discharge plan on the day of admission and collaborate with discharge-planning services to ensure seamless transitions. Conduct daily assessments and update progress notes in SOAP format to reflect ongoing care and adjustments.
• Timely Medical Interventions: Respond promptly to medical consultations and document all interventions performed on patients accurately and in compliance with Fakeeh Care’s documentation standards.
• Discharge Coordination: Ensure the timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries, including clear discharge instructions and patient education on medications and follow-up care. Verify that all necessary information is provided to patients and their families prior to discharge.
• Facility and Departmental Engagement: Fulfill on-call duties as scheduled and actively participate in departmental and general staff meetings. Contribute innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction.
• Medical Reporting and Education: Compile and submit medical reports in accordance with Fakeeh Care’s guidelines. Engage in teaching rounds and educational activities as requested by the medical department chairperson. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to foster informed decision-making.
• Professional Development and Compliance: Uphold Fakeeh Care’s values of person-centered care, safety protocols, and ethical standards. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, cybersecurity training, and mandatory education programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Clinical Expertise: Completion of specialized training in your field of practice, including the highest clinical degree recognized by a reputable medical institution. Ensure your experience aligns with regional health regulatory authority standards, such as those set by SCFHS or DHA.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and non-medical staff. Your clarity and empathy will be instrumental in building trust and ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications and adaptability to integrate digital tools into your clinical workflows.
• Organizational Acumen: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations with composure and efficiency. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring timely and effective patient care.
• Multilingual Proficiency: Excellent command of both oral and written English and Arabic to cater to a diverse patient population and facilitate clear communication across all levels of care.
