Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Senior Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

The FP&A Senior Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities designed to enhance organizational performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your core duties will include:

• Strategic Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain comprehensive annual budgets that align with the organization’s long-term strategic objectives. Ensure budgets are realistic, achievable, and reflective of current market conditions.
• Forecasting and Variance Analysis: Lead the preparation of detailed financial forecasts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual projections. Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and projected performance, providing actionable insights to management for informed decision-making.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform in-depth financial analyses to evaluate business performance, assess financial health, and identify trends that may impact future operations. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Performance Metrics and Improvement Initiatives: Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to evaluate organizational efficiency and profitability. Develop and recommend strategic initiatives to optimize financial performance, reduce costs, and enhance revenue generation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources to ensure alignment in financial planning and reporting. Facilitate clear communication and provide financial guidance to non-financial stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, or CMA) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably within a corporate or enterprise environment. Experience in a leadership or mentorship role is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel (advanced modeling and pivot tables), and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms. Familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools is a significant advantage.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is essential to effectively communicate with stakeholders across diverse regions.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the capacity to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial audiences. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
