Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer at KBR, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions that meet the unique demands of national security applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-End Development: Architect, code, and deploy full stack applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and security specialists, to deliver high-performance solutions tailored to mission-critical requirements.
• Security and Compliance: Develop software with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity, adhering to stringent compliance standards and best practices to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in modern full stack development frameworks, including but not limited to JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Node.js, Python, or Java, along with experience in database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Cloud and DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Security-Conscious Development: Strong understanding of secure coding practices, encryption, and vulnerability assessment to mitigate risks in high-stakes environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a team-driven environment.
• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and secure applications.

• Experience with government or defense-related projects, particularly those involving classified or sensitive data.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF) and compliance requirements (e.g., FISMA, ITAR).
• Knowledge of geospatial technologies, artificial intelligence, or machine learning applications in national security contexts.
• Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
