Solution Architect (Architecture, Integration & Cyber)

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Solution Architect (Architecture, Integration & Cyber) to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise-wide solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, integration frameworks, and cybersecurity principles to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that align with business objectives and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Solution Architecture: Own the complete architecture lifecycle, spanning business, application, integration, data, and infrastructure domains. Define and articulate the target architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Integration & API Design: Develop robust integration patterns and API designs to facilitate seamless connectivity between disparate systems, applications, and services. Ensure interoperability, performance, and scalability across the enterprise ecosystem.
• Cybersecurity Architecture: Establish and enforce security principles, standards, and controls to safeguard enterprise assets. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate security into every phase of the solution lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Cloud Architecture: Leverage cloud-native principles and technologies to design resilient, cost-effective, and agile cloud solutions. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and compliance while ensuring seamless migration and modernization efforts.
• Architecture Governance & Technical Assurance: Lead design reviews, architecture governance, and technical assurance processes to validate solutions against architectural standards, regulatory requirements, and business needs. Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and mitigate risks proactively.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and third-party partners to align technical solutions with business objectives. Drive vendor management, contract negotiations, and solution evaluations to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Scalability, Security, and Compliance: Ensure all solutions are designed with scalability, security, and compliance at the forefront. Address potential vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and regulatory gaps to deliver resilient and future-proof architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Enterprise & Solution Architecture: Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide architectures, with a focus on business, application, integration, data, and infrastructure domains.
• Integration Architecture: Expertise in integration patterns, middleware technologies, and API design (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) to enable seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Cybersecurity Architecture: Strong background in cybersecurity principles, including IAM, network security, and DevSecOps practices. Ability to integrate security into architectural designs and development pipelines.
• Cloud Architecture: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing.
• Architecture Governance: Familiarity with architecture governance frameworks, technical assurance processes, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Collaboration & Leadership: Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to mentor teams and influence decision-making at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and real-time data processing.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
