Infrastructure Lead – Drive Cutting-Edge IT Operations at TCS (MEA)

Join Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, as an Infrastructure Lead in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As part of India’s largest multinational conglomerate, TCS empowers businesses worldwide with innovative, cognitive-powered solutions delivered through its benchmark Location Independent Agile™ model. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to shape enterprise-grade infrastructure, enhance operational resilience, and lead high-impact automation initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

In this strategic position, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of infrastructure operations, ensuring seamless deployment, robust security, and optimal performance across critical environments. Your expertise will drive efficiency, scalability, and compliance while fostering cross-functional partnerships to deliver exceptional business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As the Infrastructure Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-End Deployment Automation: Standardize and manage automated CI/CD pipelines across all environments (SIT, UAT, Regression, Production, and Disaster Recovery) to ensure seamless integration, consistent application stack management, and reliable deployments.
  • Advanced Linux Automation: Design and implement sophisticated automation scripts and workflows using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools to streamline deployments, patch management, and system configurations, reducing manual intervention and minimizing errors.
  • Enterprise Infrastructure Management: Take full ownership of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and other Linux-based systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and well-integrated application stacks across all controlled environments.
  • Operational Resilience & Disaster Recovery: Lead 24/7 incident response for critical issues and oversee quarterly Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and backup testing to meet stringent Recovery Time (RTO) and Recovery Point (RPO) objectives.
  • Security & Compliance Leadership: Enforce robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), data encryption, and privacy standards to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and GDPR. Implement rapid patching (within 30 days) and vulnerability remediation to safeguard the infrastructure.
  • Performance Optimization & Monitoring: Fine-tune system performance to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain comprehensive audit logs, health checks, and proactive monitoring to preemptively address potential issues.
  • Collaborative Leadership & Escalation Management: Collaborate closely with internal IT teams, Information Security (InfoSec), and third-party vendors to align infrastructure strategies. Manage escalation protocols, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and maintain high-quality documentation for seamless knowledge transfer.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a leadership capacity, leveraging technical expertise to drive operational excellence and innovation in a global IT services environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this position, you must possess:

  • Proven Experience: Extensive background in Linux Systems Engineering and Enterprise Operations, with a focus on automation, scalability, and high-availability solutions.
  • Automation Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef, along with strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Perl to automate repetitive tasks and workflows.
  • Deep Linux Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, kernel tuning, and security hardening to ensure robust system performance and security.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and containerization technologies to deploy and manage scalable, resilient applications.
  • Middleware & Data Management: Familiarity with WSO2 APIM/IS, Redis in-memory data stores, and the ELK Stack for centralized logging and analytics to enhance system observability.
  • Network Security: Strong understanding of load balancers, firewalls, and secure integration patterns to fortify infrastructure against cyber threats.
  • Certifications: Mandatory RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification. CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification is highly preferred.

If you are a visionary leader with a passion for driving operational efficiency and technological innovation, we invite you to apply for this impactful role at TCS. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of enterprise infrastructure solutions.
