Facilities Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Take charge of daily facility operations and maintenance activities, ensuring that all systems and infrastructure function at optimal levels to support business operations.
• MEP Systems Management: Monitor and maintain Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to guarantee efficient performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Contractor Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with contractors, service providers, and vendors to ensure timely execution of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades while adhering to contractual obligations and quality benchmarks.
• Maintenance Execution: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, conducting thorough follow-ups to ensure issues are resolved promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
• Compliance and Standards: Uphold Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, quality standards, and operational guidelines to create a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment.
• Issue Resolution: Respond swiftly to facility-related issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement timely and sustainable solutions that restore normal operations.
• Performance Monitoring: Track maintenance schedules, work orders, and service reports to identify trends, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall facility efficiency.
• Cost and Resource Management: Support cost-control initiatives by optimizing the utilization of resources, reducing waste, and implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies without compromising quality or safety.
• Stakeholder Support: Ensure that guests, tenants, and employees enjoy a safe, reliable, and high-quality environment that meets their operational and comfort needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) from an accredited institution.
• Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge of MEP systems, facility operations, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in facilities engineering and maintenance, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to achieve shared objectives.
