Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Representative, your core responsibilities will include:

• Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term, credible relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders, to understand and address their patients' evolving needs.
• Strategic Territory Management: Develop and execute tailored territory strategies that leverage effective communication and GSK-approved resources to drive engagement and business growth.
• Scientific Engagement: Conduct insightful scientific discussions and group meetings with healthcare professionals to share evidence-based knowledge, product information, and therapeutic updates, fostering informed decision-making.
• Market Insights & Feedback: Provide timely and accurate feedback on market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic business decisions and product development.
• Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with GSK’s policies, local regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
• Resource Optimization: Manage company resources—including time, budget, and materials—responsibly to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in your assigned territory.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Must be a Saudi national.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Licensure: Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) license as a certified pharmacist in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience: Up to two years of relevant experience in sales, healthcare engagement, or a similar field. Fresh graduates with a passion for the pharmaceutical industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Core Competencies:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret market data and customer feedback.
  • Self-motivation and time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your candidacy:

• Prior experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies, particularly within the public sector.
• Familiarity with sales and distribution processes in the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or CRM systems.
• Strong presentation skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Valid Saudi driver’s license with a clean driving record, as the role requires frequent travel within the Makkah and Taif regions.

Work Environment & Culture

This is a field-based position based in Makkah, with coverage extending to Taif, Saudi Arabia. The role involves regular travel to healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, to engage with healthcare professionals.
