Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and operational duties, including but not limited to:

• Guest-Centric Support: Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, addressing issues with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy. Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns with efficiency and discretion.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on all tools, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal functionality and longevity. Conduct visual assessments of machinery, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in interpreting blueprints, electrical diagrams, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) schematics. Exhibit superior mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of general engineering operations, with specialized skills in at least three of the following areas: HVAC/refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicle maintenance, energy conservation, or building management.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with minimal oversight. Conduct repairs on high-end equipment, including refrigeration units, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and kitchen appliances. Replace critical components such as pumps, motors, lighting fixtures, and wiring while adhering to company and local safety standards.
• Inventory and Supply Management: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels. Procure necessary parts, tools, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations and minimize downtime.
• Cross-Turn Communication: Effectively communicate daily activities, maintenance schedules, and issues to colleagues across shifts using established protocols and digital tools.
• On-Call and Shift Operations: Assume responsibilities as an **On-Call Engineer**, including conducting rounds, monitoring systems, and responding to urgent maintenance needs during off-hours.
• Training and Mentorship: Guide and train junior technicians or colleagues as needed, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous improvement in technical skills.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, reporting hazards, accidents, or near-misses immediately. Complete mandatory safety training and certifications, and store hazardous materials in accordance with regulations. Uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times.
• Guest Relations: Deliver exceptional service by greeting guests warmly, addressing their needs proactively, and accommodating individuals with disabilities with patience and respect. Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information and protect company assets with integrity.
