Key Responsibilities

As a Barista, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our café while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for every customer. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Expert Coffee Preparation: Craft and serve a variety of high-quality specialty coffee beverages, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup.
• Espresso Mastery: Dial in espresso shots with precision and calibrate coffee grinders to achieve the perfect extraction, adhering to our café’s quality standards.
• Milk Steaming and Beverage Preparation: Expertly steam milk and prepare beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks, with attention to detail and presentation.
• Customer Service Excellence: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Café Hygiene and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar, ensuring all equipment is sanitized, stocked, and ready for service at all times.
• Inventory and Operational Support: Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and contributing to the smooth operation of daily café activities.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: Prior experience working in a specialty coffee shop or café environment is highly preferred, though passionate beginners with relevant training will also be considered.
• Coffee Knowledge: A solid understanding of espresso extraction techniques, milk steaming, and coffee brewing methods is essential.
