Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy and operations for our prestigious property in the Al Hamra District, Southern Corniche, Jeddah. This pivotal role will serve as the strategic financial leader, driving the development and execution of property-wide initiatives that align with the brand’s mission to exceed customer expectations and enhance shareholder value. Key Responsibilities

The Director of Finance will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the property by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Champion the development and implementation of property-wide financial strategies that support the brand’s service objectives and maximize return on investment. Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial planning with the company’s long-term business strategy.
• Budgeting and Financial Planning: Create and execute an annual operating budget that reflects the property’s financial goals and operational needs. Analyze financial data, forecast sales against expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to enhance profitability. Monitor actual performance against projections and provide actionable insights to optimize financial outcomes.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess market trends, evaluate business opportunities, and mitigate risks. Produce accurate and timely financial reports that inform decision-making and support the executive team in driving operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team by fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and collaboration. Assign clear roles and responsibilities, conduct performance appraisals, and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Oversee internal and external audit processes to maintain compliance and safeguard assets.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and executive committee, providing strategic financial guidance on critical business decisions. Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and persuasive manner to stakeholders, including property owners, corporate leadership, and key partners. Attend meetings and engage with stakeholders to understand priorities and align financial strategies accordingly.
• Risk Management and Controls: Implement robust financial controls and risk management frameworks to protect the property’s assets and ensure operational integrity. Identify potential financial risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them, thereby enhancing the property’s financial resilience.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
• Minimum of three years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a related professional field. Candidates with a master’s degree may qualify with one year of relevant experience.
