Senior Supply Chain & International Logistics Manager
الوصف الوظيفي
Position Overview
Nhara Healthcare Industries is seeking a seasoned and proactive Senior Supply Chain & International Logistics Manager to oversee the full spectrum of supply chain operations, international trade, import/export processes, logistics management, inventory coordination, and SAP S/4HANA system activities. This role demands a hands-on leader who will take full ownership of end-to-end supply chain execution, ensuring seamless coordination from procurement to final delivery—without relying on external freight forwarders to dictate the process.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will independently manage every critical stage of the supply chain and logistics workflow, including:
- End-to-End Supply Chain Ownership: Monitor and manage open purchase orders from issuance to supplier production, goods readiness, and dispatch. Ensure alignment between material availability and production schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating potential shortages to prevent disruptions in manufacturing or customer commitments.
- Inbound Logistics Coordination: Oversee the receipt of raw materials, components, and finished products, ensuring accurate documentation, SAP S/4HANA transactions, and physical alignment with warehouse and production teams. Address discrepancies, investigate shortages or overages, and drive resolution to closure.
- Outbound Logistics Execution: Lead the planning and execution of shipments, selecting the optimal transport mode (air, sea, road, courier, or multimodal) based on urgency, cost, customs requirements, and product specifications. Apply Incoterms to define clear responsibilities among Nhara, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Saudi Customs & Import/Export Compliance: Leverage deep expertise in Saudi customs regulations to ensure seamless import/export clearance for medical devices, finished products, raw materials, components, packaging, samples, and specialized equipment. Verify HS classifications, coordinate certificates of origin, and resolve customs queries or holds while maintaining rigorous compliance standards.
- Freight & Logistics Management: Directly manage freight bookings, origin export formalities, cargo tracking, and destination clearance. Review and negotiate freight quotations, instruct logistics providers on required actions, and confirm physical delivery and system receipt. Handle urgent or production-critical shipments with precision.
- International Sample Movement: Own the compliant and expedited movement of medical device samples into and out of Saudi Arabia for customers, hospitals, distributors, laboratories, and partners. Determine accurate product descriptions, regulatory status, HS classifications, and supporting documentation to ensure seamless clearance and delivery.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customs brokers, and internal teams (Quality/Regulatory Affairs) to align on documentation, regulatory requirements, and delivery timelines. Challenge inaccuracies or incomplete information from service providers while retaining full ownership of the supply chain process.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must possess:
- Proven Expertise: A minimum of 8–10 years in supply chain management, international logistics, and customs compliance, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems, as well as a deep understanding of Incoterms, HS classifications, and Saudi customs regulations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with SFDA requirements and other regulatory frameworks impacting medical device imports/exports in Saudi Arabia.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive complex logistics processes to completion under tight deadlines. Must demonstrate autonomy, accountability, and a results-driven mindset.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate across global teams, suppliers, and service providers while maintaining clear documentation and reporting standards.
