Finance Supervisor

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Finance Supervisor to spearhead and elevate Solar Robotics Systems’ finance and accounting operations as the company scales. This pivotal role will encompass the full spectrum of financial oversight, including strategic financial reporting, budgetary management, treasury operations, working capital optimization, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will deliver precise, actionable financial insights that empower leadership to make informed, sustainable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Supervisor will assume a hands-on leadership role with the following core responsibilities:

• ERP Leadership and Accounting Cycle Management: Drive the implementation and optimization of the ERP system while managing the complete accounting cycle to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Financial Reporting and Closing: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with international accounting standards.
• Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cash Flow Management: Develop, monitor, and refine budgets and forecasts, while maintaining rigorous control over cash flow and working capital to support operational liquidity and growth initiatives.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including collections and ZATCA-compliant e-invoicing, to streamline transactions and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Treasury and Trade Finance: Manage banking relationships, Letters of Credit, guarantees, bid bonds, and performance bonds to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational flexibility.
• Inventory and Cost Accounting: Oversee inventory accounting, cost allocation, stock reconciliations, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to optimize financial performance and inventory efficiency.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Saudi financial regulations, including VAT, Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, withholding tax, and other KSA statutory requirements to avoid penalties and maintain operational integrity.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth financial operations and audits.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized, full-time accredited university.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of six years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least three years in a supervisory capacity within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Training in financial accounting and taxation, with a preference for candidates holding an intermediate accounting qualification or equivalent certification. Hands-on expertise in ERP systems, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls is essential.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi financial and tax regulations, including ZATCA e-invoicing, VAT, Zakat, and Corporate Income Tax, with a proven ability to implement compliant processes.
• Specialized Skills: Demonstrated experience in treasury management, trade finance, inventory accounting, cost control, and working capital optimization.
• Technical Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, office automation tools, and ERP software to enhance productivity and financial analysis.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, coordination, communication, and financial analysis abilities to drive efficiency and strategic decision-making.
