Key Responsibilities:

As the Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Inventory Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute inventory management strategies tailored to the distributor network, ensuring optimal stock levels that balance cost efficiency with service levels. Utilize advanced forecasting tools and analytical techniques to anticipate demand fluctuations and align inventory decisions with market trends.
• Supplier and Distributor Collaboration: Work closely with distributors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to establish clear inventory policies, performance metrics, and service level agreements. Resolve inventory-related disputes and negotiate terms to enhance supply chain resilience and cost-effectiveness.
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the inventory management process and propose actionable improvements. Implement best practices in warehouse management, order fulfillment, and logistics to streamline operations and reduce lead times.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, stock accuracy, and order fulfillment rates. Generate insightful reports for leadership to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Risk Management: Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks such as supply chain disruptions, demand volatility, or inventory obsolescence. Ensure compliance with Nestlé’s global inventory policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between Nestlé’s distribution centers, regional teams, and external partners to foster alignment and collaboration. Present inventory strategies and performance updates to senior management and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

To thrive in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a customer-centric mindset. Ideal candidates will possess:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) are a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or distributor relations within the FMCG or food industry. Experience in a regional or international setting is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), ERP systems, and data analytics tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong negotiation and communication skills to influence decisions and resolve conflicts.
• Regional Insight: Familiarity with the Middle East market dynamics, local supply chain challenges, and regulatory environments is essential. Fluency in Arabic is a strong asset.
