Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of cleaning staff, providing clear direction, training, and performance evaluations to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
• Operational Coordination: Plan, organize, and oversee daily cleaning schedules, ensuring all soft services—such as carpet cleaning, upholstery maintenance, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation—are executed efficiently and to the highest quality.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met, addressing any deficiencies promptly and implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual obligations and client requirements.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of cleaning supplies, equipment, and personnel to optimize productivity and minimize waste, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including the proper use of cleaning agents and equipment to mitigate risks.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inventory levels, and staff performance, providing regular reports to management as required.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs for the cleaning team and coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in soft services cleaning techniques.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in facilities management, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or coordination role within the cleaning or facilities management industry, with a focus on soft services.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and management.
• Organizational Skills: Strong planning and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
