Supervisor - BI and Analytics

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor - BI and Analytics to lead our data-driven initiatives and empower the organization with actionable insights. Key Responsibilities

• Data Strategy and Governance: Develop and execute comprehensive data strategies that support organizational goals, while establishing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks to ensure compliance, integrity, and quality across all data assets.
• Advanced Analytics and Reporting: Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics models, interactive dashboards, and insightful reports that provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, clinical operations, and other departments to ensure that BI solutions are tailored to meet business requirements, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• BI Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Assess, recommend, and implement cutting-edge BI tools and technologies to enhance data visualization, reporting, and analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and industry best practices.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of analytics professionals, cultivating an environment that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present complex data findings and insights to executive leadership in a clear and compelling manner, translating technical details into strategic recommendations that drive business outcomes.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of BI initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous enhancement of our analytics capabilities.
• Adaptability and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in BI and analytics, proactively recommending and implementing improvements to keep the organization at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in BI and analytics, with a strong understanding of healthcare data, including clinical, operational, and financial metrics. Proficiency in EHR systems and experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R are essential. Additionally, you should demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for deriving meaningful insights from complex datasets.

The successful candidate will exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling them to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are critical, as this role requires the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in software implementation, project management, or technical support is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is mandatory, with certifications such as Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) considered a valuable asset.

Fluency in both English and Arabic is preferred, ensuring seamless communication across diverse teams and stakeholders. While not mandatory, professional certifications such as the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCE) may be advantageous.
