Information Technology Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Lead – Oracle SCM Lead to join our dynamic IT Applications team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing our Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) ecosystem, which includes Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules seamlessly integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Your expertise will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring system reliability, and enabling business growth through advanced technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As the Oracle SCM Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM modules, including Warehouse Management (WMS), Supply Planning, and Transportation Management (OTM). Your role will involve configuring, supporting, and enhancing these modules to align with business requirements while ensuring seamless integration with Oracle EBS. This position demands a unique blend of technical and functional expertise, enabling you to bridge the gap between business processes and Oracle applications.

Oracle Fusion SCM Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Fusion Warehouse Management (WMS) to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
• Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Fusion Supply Planning to ensure accurate demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Configure, support, and enhance Oracle Fusion Transportation Management (OTM) to streamline logistics and transportation processes.
• Analyze and resolve functional issues within Oracle Fusion SCM modules to minimize disruptions and enhance system performance.
• Participate in system enhancements, testing, upgrades, and production support to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
• Configure application features according to evolving business requirements, ensuring scalability and adaptability.

Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Responsibilities

• Analyze Oracle EBS transactions that feed data into Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Support the end-to-end transaction flow between Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion, facilitating seamless data exchange and process integration.
• Leverage strong supply chain management experience and a solid understanding of finance modules to drive informed decision-making.

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries to analyze data and investigate issues, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
• Create and maintain PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and packages to support system functionality and automation.
• Analyze interface tables and integration data to identify discrepancies and optimize data flow between systems.
• Support the troubleshooting of Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange.
• Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, integrations, data migration, and custom developments to enhance system capabilities.
• Assist in root cause analysis for production incidents, providing actionable insights and solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare functional specifications for system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Participate in integration testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system performance and reliability.
• Contribute to automation initiatives involving Oracle Fusion and EBS, driving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.

Business Support and Collaboration

• Gather and document business requirements to ensure system solutions meet operational needs.
• Recommend best practice processes and solutions that align with industry standards and market benchmarks.
• Conduct impact analysis for system changes to assess risks and benefits, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions to empower teams with the skills needed to leverage Oracle applications effectively.
• Prepare comprehensive functional and technical documentation to support system maintenance and future enhancements.
• Provide application support to resolve user queries and technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
• Liaise with business users, vendors, and implementation partners to foster collaboration and drive successful project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in hybrid Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion environments, with a focus on supply chain management.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Supply Chain implementations or support projects in manufacturing and FMCG industries.
• Expertise in integrating Oracle systems with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• Strong background in data migration and system integrations, ensuring seamless transitions and data consistency.
• Familiarity with warehouse automation solutions is considered a valuable asset.
