Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will play a critical role in the financial operations of the company by performing a wide range of accounting and financial analysis tasks. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Process and review accounting entries in SAP to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare comprehensive financial and cost analysis reports to support management in making informed business decisions. Monitor inventory turnover and participate in periodic inventory and asset counts to maintain optimal stock levels and asset integrity.
• Audit Support and Compliance: Facilitate external audits conducted by headquarters or local entities by providing all necessary internal and external documentation. Ensure strict adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations to maintain compliance and mitigate financial risks.
• Banking and Financial Operations: Oversee daily banking activities, including processing bank transfers, deposits, government payments, and other financial transactions. Coordinate closely with banking institutions to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless financial operations. Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and identify any irregularities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management to provide financial insights, support budgeting processes, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Your ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely will be essential in fostering a data-driven decision-making culture.
• Adaptability and Task Management: Demonstrate the ability to handle financial tasks with precision and efficiency, even under tight deadlines. Be prepared to support the HQ Finance Department with additional responsibilities as required to ensure the smooth functioning of the finance department.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required. Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a must.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills preferred. Experience with SAP is a significant advantage. Knowledge of online corporate banking platforms and bank reconciliation processes is essential.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IFRS principles and Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations, ensuring all financial activities are conducted in full compliance with local and international standards.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably within manufacturing enterprises. Strong knowledge of standard costing systems and inventory management is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. A supportive and cooperative approach is vital for fostering a positive and productive work environment.
