Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandizer to join our team at Kimberly-Clark in Dammam. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the effective display, availability, and promotion of our products in retail environments. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with retailers to optimize shelf space, monitor inventory levels, and execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance brand visibility. Key Responsibilities

• Retail Collaboration: Partner with retail partners to plan and implement merchandising strategies that align with Kimberly-Clark’s brand objectives and sales targets. Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, shelf conditions, and promotional opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels across assigned retail locations to ensure product availability and prevent stockouts. Coordinate with supply chain teams to address any discrepancies or replenishment needs promptly.
• Planogram Execution: Adhere to and execute planograms (shelf schematics) to maintain consistent product positioning and maximize shelf impact. Ensure compliance with Kimberly-Clark’s merchandising standards and guidelines.
• Promotional Support: Assist in the setup and maintenance of in-store promotions, including end-caps, displays, and seasonal campaigns. Track the performance of promotions and provide feedback to the marketing team for continuous improvement.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze sales data, market trends, and merchandising performance metrics. Prepare detailed reports to highlight opportunities for growth, gaps in execution, and recommendations for optimization.
• Training and Development: Train retail staff on product knowledge, merchandising best practices, and Kimberly-Clark’s brand standards. Foster strong relationships with store managers and employees to ensure smooth execution of merchandising plans.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all merchandising activities comply with Kimberly-Clark’s policies, as well as local regulations and retailer-specific requirements. Address any issues related to product quality, safety, or presentation promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, or a related field. Prior experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with merchandising software or tools. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with retail partners and internal teams. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to travel frequently to retail locations, often requiring the lifting of merchandise, standing for extended periods, and moving between stores efficiently.

Work Environment

This role operates primarily in the field, with frequent travel to retail locations across Dammam and surrounding areas. The Merchandizer will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align merchandising strategies with overall business goals. The position requires flexibility to accommodate store hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
