Position Overview

As a CCTV Operator at PepsiCo, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. Your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the security and integrity of our operations, enabling our teams to focus on delivering exceptional products to consumers worldwide. This role requires a high level of responsibility, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment in alignment with PepsiCo’s Global Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (GEHSMS) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Facility Security: Conduct regular inspections of company property, including perimeters, doors, windows, and internal areas such as plants and offices. Identify and report any security vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, or suspicious activity to the nearest manager or supervisor and, when necessary, to local authorities.
• Access Control Management: Verify credentials of individuals seeking entry to company premises, ensuring only authorized personnel gain access. Maintain accurate records of access control activities and report any discrepancies or breaches immediately.
• Emergency Response: Act promptly in emergency situations, including fires, trespassing, or other threats. Follow established emergency procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of all personnel and assets. Notify authorities and internal teams as required to coordinate an effective response.
• CCTV and Security Systems Operation: Monitor and operate CCTV systems and other security devices to detect and deter unauthorized activity. Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and conduct routine checks to maintain optimal performance.
• Compliance and Reporting: Adhere to PepsiCo’s Global Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System (GEHSMS) and relevant Security CAT standards. Submit daily security reports, including access control logs, LP (Loss Prevention) reports, and Management System (MS) updates, to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in security protocols.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with security teams and site managers to implement and sustain security best practices. Participate in training sessions and drills to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities across the site.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and personal attributes:

• Education: A diploma degree in a relevant field is required. Additional certifications in security management or emergency response are advantageous.
• Experience: Prior experience in a security-related role is preferred, though candidates with a strong aptitude for vigilance, attention to detail, and problem-solving will be considered.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security technologies. Familiarity with emergency procedures and risk assessment methodologies is essential.
