Position Overview

Sealy Mattress Middle East, a leading provider of premium sleep solutions in the region, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the face of our brand, fostering meaningful relationships with media outlets, industry stakeholders, and the public to enhance our corporate reputation and drive brand visibility. Key Responsibilities

• Media Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets to secure positive coverage for Sealy Mattress Middle East. Act as the primary point of contact for journalists, ensuring timely and accurate responses to media inquiries.
• Brand Communication: Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to create and execute PR campaigns that align with the company’s strategic goals. Craft press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content to position Sealy as an authority in the sleep industry.
• Crisis Management: Monitor public sentiment and industry trends to proactively address potential reputational risks. Develop and implement crisis communication plans to mitigate negative publicity and safeguard the brand’s integrity.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Sealy Mattress Middle East at industry events, trade shows, and community initiatives. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, suppliers, and industry associations, to strengthen our market presence.
• Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality PR materials, including articles, blogs, social media content, and multimedia assets. Ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms to reinforce brand identity.
• Performance Analysis: Track and measure the impact of PR initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as media mentions, sentiment analysis, and audience engagement. Provide regular reports to senior management to assess the effectiveness of our PR strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role is required, with a proven track record of managing media relations and executing successful PR campaigns. Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:
