Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP Business Data Cloud Consultant to join our dynamic, remote-first team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in implementing and optimizing SAP Business Data Cloud solutions, enabling our clients to elevate their data management capabilities. Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to establish robust data governance frameworks, design scalable data architectures, and enforce stringent data quality standards. By doing so, you will ensure seamless data integration and utilization across the enterprise, driving informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and management of SAP Business Data Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and industry best practices.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Design and optimize data architectures that support scalable, cloud-based data management solutions, leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform and its integration capabilities with other SAP modules.
• Develop and enforce data quality standards, utilizing advanced data transformation processes, ETL tools, and data visualization platforms to enhance data integrity and usability.
• Conduct thorough assessments of business requirements to identify data management challenges and propose tailored solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP Business Data Cloud solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud-based data architecture best practices, ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, delivering solutions within defined timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Business Data Cloud or equivalent data management platforms, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management methodologies, and data modeling techniques.
• Strong proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform and its integration capabilities with other SAP solutions, such as SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud.
• Experience with data transformation processes, ETL tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Informatica), and data visualization tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau).
• Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures, with a focus on scalability, security, and compliance.
• Ability to develop and enforce data governance frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams in a remote work environment.
• Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team and organizational goals.
• Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate, are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
