Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead and support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab CI, ensuring rapid, reliable, and scalable software delivery.
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them at scale with Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Support and troubleshoot OpenShift environments, ensuring seamless integration with our development and production workflows.
• Maintain and optimize Linux/Unix-based systems, including scripting (Bash, PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational overhead.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and enforce ITIL-based operational best practices, including incident and problem management, to ensure alignment with service level agreements (SLAs) and high availability standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.
• Advocate for and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to improve consistency, reproducibility, and scalability of our environments.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing by mentoring junior team members and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 5-10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Support.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD tools, including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab CI, with a focus on automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Deep familiarity with OpenShift, including its architecture, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting techniques, to ensure seamless operations in containerized environments.
• Extensive experience with Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Bash, PowerShell), and system administration to maintain and optimize production-grade infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, with experience deploying and managing scalable, resilient applications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), including infrastructure provisioning, networking, security, and cost optimization.
• A solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, including incident, problem, and change management, to ensure alignment with operational best practices and SLAs.
• Experience supporting production systems with high availability and strict SLAs, demonstrating a commitment to reliability, performance, and uptime.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and translate technical complexities into actionable solutions.
